Shower test

Basically a test that determines your personality through the body part you wash first, when you shower (you do, right?). Entertaining, and recommended by R. He said the description of me, based on what I chose was quite accurate. But I’m just posting it here for the fun of it. Funny, that there should be a body part for losers, and the implication for another body part that you’re better off with a loser.

Mine was hair, by the way.

I went out with R today. I faced something quite…devastating yesterday morning, and the first thing I did after blogging was to summon him. Of course, F was online later that night, read and asked what happened. I felt much, much better chatting with her about everything and sharing songs. Little moments, like how I notice the addition of kittens, brightens my day. Little moments, like how a friend shows concern in times of need, makes me temporarily forget the harshness of life.

It’s always the little actions that makes the greatest impact, isn’t it?

Of course, then I had to watch Capote, and ponder over some issues. The philosophical issues I read somehow always contribute to my already negative image of the world. Anyway, back to R. Told him about it, and somehow throughout the day I just couldn’t fully shrug off or resist recalling the incident, but it was great to see him nonetheless. Think he can be my fashion consultant – he gives really great advice, and it’s generally quite fun to hang out with him, though we didn’t go for the usual routine of venting at the roof terrace @ Esplanade. He was quite bushed from his CCA event as well. Anyway, thanks ar, for putting up with my nonsense.

I guess, recently I must have been too caught up in work/personal affairs, that I’ve forgotten how important my ties are. I miss the secondary school days, where there was a clique to feel that camaraderie, that sense of identity, and so do many of my peers, who now find poly friendships just don’t feel the same. I’m glad I made some really, really great friends here. It’s not the same, but it’s just as good…the kind of friends which you believe you’ll have for life.

I could never imagine myself saying something like this 2 years ago.
